What’s involved in a Chisel Check Up?

Account structure – do you have all the right expense codes set up to ensure your reporting gives you a clear picture of where your money is spent. Has income been correctly allocated?

Bank Reconciliation – does your bank feed match the bank statement. You would be surprised just how many times we’ve had business owners tell us the bank reconciliation balances for us to find it doesn’t.

GST/BAS – has gst been entered correctly for each transaction. Does your ATO account in your accounts reconcile to the Balance sheet and match your records within the ATO system?

Payroll – is your payroll set up correctly? Are you meeting your STP 1 & 2 requirements? Are you paying super to your employees and the correct amounts?

Assets – have all the assets of your business been entered?

Liabilities – are all your business liabilities showing in your file?

Debtors & Creditors – we check to see if your debtors and creditors are up to date and ‘real’
